Due to an FAA visit to the helicopter vendor, your mobilization to Abbeville for the project will be delayed until February 22nd. We will be in touch when closer to the date and get flights etc. organized.

message to encorp about can recycling
Hi Trammie,
Thanks for the reply. Does the barcode need to be entirely visible and readable? I don’t drink obscure beverages, just pretty mainstream ones like Coke and popular beers. I’m worried that crushing it sideways could still obscure the barcode if it’s printed near the bottom of the can.
Thanks,
Andrew

BC Transit clarifies misuse of 24-hour clock
Dear Andrew,
Thank you for contacting BC Transit. At one time we had all times listed using the 24 hour clock and Customer’s found it confusing. For late night trips after midnight we can’t use 24:15 for example because that wouldn’t be correct. The schedule for 1am is listed at 13:00 so Customer’s don’t get confused with the afternoon time listed at 1:00. I hope this...

Polishing is the process of creating a smooth and shiny surface by rubbing it or using a chemical action, leaving a surface with a significant specular reflection (still limited by the index of refraction of the material according to the Fresnel equations.)

Dear Andrew,
Thank you for your email. At this time, we do not export our dairy products into Canada due to import restrictions imposed by the Canadian Government. However, we have been looking into this, and hope to someday ship our products to retailers in Canada. Until then, we hope you keep bring “alarming” amounts home with you!

just an fyi in case you have a large amount of unwanted crockery: the ocean is off limits. it’s illegal to dump crockery up to 12 miles from shore.
trip report
seattle is a beautiful city. i caught it on that rare warm sunny day, riding up the green river trail to the duwamish trail to along the west seattle bridge to the port into downtown. the only way to see a city is on a bike.

#1 air travel tip
ok, here it is, my most prized air travel secret. air travel sucks, right? a proper coffee is three bucks, you have to endure a barrage of arbitrary rules, everything takes forever and they won’t let you listen to your ipod because it might interfere with a plane that’s built to withstand lightning strikes. want to smooth things out a little? take the edge off? you may think that...
