trip report
seattle is a beautiful city. i caught it on that rare warm sunny day, riding up the green river trail to the duwamish trail to along the west seattle bridge to the port into downtown. the only way to see a city is on a bike.
- stay the hell away from the interstate. i was almost sucked onto the I-5 and the 405 many times before jumping off my bike on the side of an offramp and climbing an embankment.
- i caught the lycra bug. once i start shaving my legs, my roadie conversion will be complete.
- there’s still so much neon in seattle! everyone knows the iconic pike place market sign, but even rundown streets are lined by it.
i see bike touring in my future.
