yyz: best airport in the world?
two things about toronto pearson international airport:
- you know those stupid little carts that go burning around most airports? toronto had slow carts, no flashing strobe, no beeping alarm, no loud whine, and no one honking the horn at people for no reason. the driver actually waited for a crowd to move. can you think of anything worse than someone sitting completely still in a golf cart looking at you with a blank expression honking a horn for no reason at all and waiting for you to move?
- those annoying people who hawk airline branded credit cards were everywhere, but the aeroplan american express employed a girl who asked to feel my hair and then talked to me about web design for a weed legalization movement. told me she knew a little CSS and i told her she was on the right track. i applied for the card in the hopes that she will receive a commission.
